Drinking game: horse racing
Horse racing
Rules for drinking horse racing
Horse racing as a drinking game is a very fun drinking game where players bet which horse will actually win the race.
Suitable for 4 players or more.
Accessories:
- Deck of cards
- One beer or similar per person
Structure:
Place all four jacks (visible) next to each other at the top of the table. These symbolize the 4 horses. In the 2nd row, another 7 (poker) cards (not visible) are placed one below the other on the side. This is the circuit. The entire structure is L-shaped.
Rules:
Each player chooses a horse (a jack) and places, for example, half a glass of beer on the jack of clubs. But he has to drink his commitment himself beforehand. If his horse wins, he can distribute double the amount to the other players. Of course, you can also choose shots or other drinks.
The race director now reveals the top card from the rest of the pile. If, for example, a club card is drawn, the jack of clubs may move one step forward, in the case of diamonds the jack of diamonds may move forward one space.
When all horses (jacks) have moved up one space, the first card of the racetrack is revealed . If this card shows a heart, for example, the heart horse must take a step back.
The game continues until one of the horses has jumped over the seventh section of the route and has thus reached the goal.
